WINSHAPE CAMPS 2023 THEME – ROAD TRIP
WINSHAPE CAMPS 2023 THEME IS ROAD TRIP – OUR JOURNEY WITH GOD
Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths;5 guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Psalm 25:4-5
This summer, WinShape Camps are taking the adventure to a new level with the 2023 theme, “Road Trip: Our Journey with God.” As we prepare to hit the road, we invite campers to join us in a journey that will help them to explore their faith and draw closer to God. We hope to equip campers with the tools and skills they need to navigate the road ahead with confidence and trust in God.
At WinShape Camps, we recognize that life is a journey that is traveled with God. During this road trip, campers will discover the importance of leaning on God for guidance, strength, and wisdom. As campers learn to depend on God, they will be encouraged to trust Him in all things. We want campers to feel empowered to make wise decisions and live life to the fullest. As campers travel along this road trip with God, they will be surrounded by caring role models and leaders who will be there to support and encourage them. We believe that this journey will be an amazing opportunity to build relationships and grow in faith. Through this experience, we hope that campers will gain a greater sense of identity in Christ and learn to rely on God’s strength and presence in their lives.
So, pack your bags and get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! This summer, join us at WinShape Camps for “Road Trip: Our Journey with God” and prepare to experience the adventure of a lifetime. We look forward to seeing you on the road! Camp dates: Gaffney High School June 26-30.

Info for Church Partnerships 2024
Interested in learning more on how your church can partner with WinShape Camps Gaffney?
WinShape Camps Gaffney offers various partnership opportunities for churches looking to get involved with our camp ministry. Here are a few ways your church can partner with WinShape Camps:
- Host a WinShape Camp staffer (or a few): Your church can provide a gift basket, snack, or special treat for staff. In the past we’ve provided things like Starbucks orders, Sonic slushies, Walmart gift cards, replaced worn out shoes and bags, and filled various other requests.
- Pay for laundry services. WinShape Camp Staff will arrive in town with dirty laundry from the week before. We like to provide them with laundry service. Because of the large number of staffers, it makes it easier for it to be done by a local laundromat. Volunteers from your church can also do laundry for them towards the end of the week on a smaller scale.
- Sponsor Campers: Your church can help sponsor children from your congregation or community to attend at WinShape Camps Gaffney. This can be a great way to support families who may not be able to afford the cost of camp, allowing more children to participate in this life-changing experience.
- Volunteer at Camp: Your church members can volunteer at a WinShape Camp as counselors, support staff, or in other roles. This is a great way to get involved directly in the ministry of WinShape Camps and make a difference in the lives of campers. We’d love for your church staff to attend camp on Wednesday afternoon as we present the Gospel to campers and help walk them through their decision to follow Christ. It’s an amazing and humbling sight to see the hallways of Gaffney High School full of campers and adults praying as these children accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.
- Promote WinShape Camps Gaffney: Your church can help promote WinShape Camps Gaffney to families in your church, encouraging them to register their children for camp. By spreading the word about WinShape Camps, you can help more children have the opportunity to hear the Gospel and experience a week of faith-filled fun and growth.

5 Tips For First Day of WinShape Camps Gaffney
Tip #1 – Arrival and Check-in: On the first day, please arrive promptly at 8:15 AM for drop-off. Everyone will walk up to the check-in area. It’s mandatory for all campers. From Tuesday to Friday, if you’re dropping off your camper, please use the drop-off line at the top. If you’re walking up with your camper, park in front of the stadium. To save time, make sure you have filled out the medical form online in advance.
Tip #2 – Pick-up Card: Upon check-in, you will receive a pick-up card for each camper. It’s important to take a photo of it with your phone. This will make the pick-up process much smoother and help us ensure the safety of every camper.
Tip #3 – Meals: Lunches and snacks are provided for all campers. However, if you prefer, you can also bring a packed lunch for your camper. You can find the camp’s menu on our Facebook page and Instagram account, so you can plan accordingly.
Tip #4 – Camp Store: We have a camp store available in the morning and afternoon. Here, campers can find various items they may like, such as t-shirts, hats, and other merchandise. It’s a great opportunity for campers to grab some cool camp gear and rep their village.
Tip #5 – Pick-up Time: The pick-up time for campers is at 4:55 PM. Please ensure that you arrive on time to collect your camper. If you need to pick up your camper earlier, please note that the cut-off time for early pick-up is 4:00 PM.
Bonus Tips: Remember to have your camper wear closed-toed shoes instead of flip flops for their safety during activities. Also, don’t forget to apply sunscreen before coming to camp, as we’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors. Lastly, water stations are available throughout the camp, so your camper will have access to water at all times.
With these tips in mind, you’re all set for an incredible first day at WinShape Camps Gaffney! Get ready for a week filled with fun, growth, and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to see you there!

Lyrics:
Verse 1
I was born for discovery
But I was drifting through the stars without gravity
I heard a Voice calling out to me
A perfect navigated plan for my infinity
Pre-Chorus
6, 5, 4
There’s so much to explore
3, 2, 1
Lift off
Chorus
Let’s go!
Oh oh oh oh
I’m not afraid of the unknown
Oh oh oh oh
Reaching out for a connection
Found a new direction
Truth is so electric, electric, oh!
Lift off, let’s go!
Verse 2
One time for the bold
The ones who walk the path in the unknown
The ones who know the Truth when it gets cold
The ones who let the Spirit mission control
If you know, you know, let’s go!
I’m on a space walk leap of faith
Life is full of days that don’t feel safe
But now I’m stepping out now
I’m not afraid
Hands up, hands up, we gon’ elevate
Pre-Chorus
6, 5, 4
There’s so much to explore
3, 2, 1
Lift off Chorus Let’s go!
Oh oh oh oh
I’m not afraid of the unknown
Oh oh oh oh
Reaching out for a connection
Found a new direction
Truth is so electric, electric, oh!
Lift off, let’s go!
Bridge (x2)
Houston I’ve got on my helmet
You can start the engines
Ohh
Chorus
Lift off, let’s go!
Oh oh oh oh
I’m not afraid of the unknown
Oh oh oh oh
Reaching out for a connection
Found a new direction
Truth is so electric, electric, oh!
