THE SHEPHERD: HE IS MINE

LIFE CAN BE OVERWHELMING

There are global issues such as wars, and natural disasters such as hurricanes and earthquakes. Then, there are the closer-to-home issues that can feel just as earth-shaking: bullying, divorce, insecurity, the pressure to perform. Whatever the cause, it seems fear and anxiety will shakeout worlds at some point in our lives.

In the middle of global and personal chaos, trouble, uncertainty and stress, we often feel alone or like we just need to stop and catch a breath; we need to find some stability or security, guidance or protection. What we really need is…the Shepherd.

Not just a shepherd, The Shepherd. Psalm 23 says, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.”

No matter what goes on in the world, or in our lives, we can trust the Lord, The Shepherd. He loves. He guides. He protects. He comforts. He provides an amazing future. He is good. He is mine. He can be yours.

Tips for an easy Monday morning:

  • All Campers must have their medical form filled out to be kept of file before they will be allowed to be left at camp. You can log into your Winshape account and fill it out online or you can download a copy to fill out and bring with you.  This will greatly speed up your morning check-in process. Click on link to Download Medical Form
  • On Monday ONLY: All parents/guardians must park and escort your camper to the check-in tent to make sure everything is in order and medical forms are on file.  Once cleared, your camper is free to go to our supervised Fun Zone to wait for camp to start.
  • Lunch and snacks are provided every day. McDonald’s is providing hamburgers and apple pies for the main part of lunch on Monday. Your camper may bring their own lunch if they choose. Please clearly label their lunch with the camper name.
  • Camper registration begins at 7:45 and pick-up is at 5:00pm.
  • Please apply sunscreen on your camper before they get to camp. While much of camp will be indoors, they will have sections the day where they will be outside for activities.

MEDICAL FORMS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL CAMPERS

Download, print off, and fill out your medical forms to speed up the process of camp registration on the first day of camp.  If you registered online you can log into your account HERE and fill the form out there.  If your camper received a camp scholarship and registered via a paper form, you will need to download and print this medical form and bring it with you on the first day of camp.  If you aren’t able to, you can fill one out when you check in your camper on the first day.
